Supportive housing, a combination of affordable and social services like drug and alcohol treatment, healthcare and job placement, has shown to be the most effective form of ending homelessness. That is why, if approved, Measure A would create approximately 2,800 permanent and supportive homes for those experiencing chronic homelessness. But Measure A doesn’t stop there. In addition to providing supportive housing solutions, Measure A will create hundreds of good paying, local construction jobs, boosting our local economy at a time when we need it the most.
